Candidate Forum Facilitation

Overview

Native Governance Center developed its Tribal Candidate Forum facilitation services in direct response to feedback from elected Tribal leaders and citizens, who identified a need to increase voter turnout in Tribal elections.

Through this free service, NGC partners with your nation to organize and facilitate election candidate forums. We can assist with logistics, candidate outreach, community meals, and forum moderation—all tailored to reflect your community’s unique needs and priorities.

The majority of Tribal citizens who participated in our candidate forums said that the forum gave them a better understanding of their candidate options, as well as increased the transparency of the election process.
