Leadership Development

Overview

Native Governance Center provides leadership development opportunities for Indigenous changemakers through the Native Nation Rebuilders (NNR) program.

This cohort based program was built to strengthen leadership in our region by equipping Indigenous changemakers with tools and frameworks they can use to help rebuild their nations. Over 250 Native changemakers from across the region have participated in the program.

The Leadership Development team builds connections and strengthens partnerships with the Native nations, communities, and leaders we serve. We participate in Indigenous-led conferences and community events, and work alongside our Tribal Governance and Tribal Finance programming teams to deliver the Native Nation Rebuilding framework. We remain engaged with Rebuilders alumni, providing ongoing support as they implement their community action plans and carry their nation-building work forward.
