Leadership Development - Native Governance Center

Overview

Native Governance Center provides leadership development opportunities for Indigenous changemakers through the Native Nation Rebuilders (NNR) program.

This two-year, cohort based program was built to strengthen leadership in our region by equipping Indigenous changemakers with tools and frameworks they can use to help rebuild their nations. Over 200 Native changemakers from across the region have participated in the program.

In addition to supporting an annual cohort of Rebuilders, the Leadership Development team participates community events, such as pow-wows and Indigenous-led conferences. We also host lunch & learn webinars, and support our Community Engagement team by speaking on panels and at conferences.

What is a Rebuilder?

The Native Nation Rebuilders program is a two-year, cohort-based leadership training experience for Indigenous changemakers.
