Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Candidate Forum
- This event has passed.
October 6 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Native Governance Center is moderating a Tribal election candidate forum in partnership with the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. During the forum, community members can submit questions and hear directly from candidates running for Chairman and District Representatives 1-4. Candidate forums give voters space to learn about the individuals seeking leadership roles, hear their perspectives, and ask questions about the future of their Nation. If you are a Turtle Mountain citizen, join us for a free dinner and to hear from the candidates! We encourage you to attend in person if you can, or tune in to KEYA public radio to listen.
Forum schedule:
- 5:00 PM Opening Remarks & Dinner
- 5:30 PM Community Question Submission Closes
- 5:50 PM Forum Begins
