Jacob Davis is a citizen of the Turtle Mountain Chippewa Nation and a proud member of Cohort 8 of the Native Nations Rebuilder Program. With more than twenty years of experience in Indigenous public health, Jacob has worked at tribal, state, and national levels as an advocate, liaison, and educator, bringing people together to tackle complex challenges with care, clarity, and purpose.

As NGC’s Director of Advancement and Strategy, Jacob is passionate about centering community voices, strengthening cross-sector partnerships, and advancing equity through innovative, trauma-informed approaches. His work is grounded in honoring communal and traditional knowledge systems, cultivating long-term, trust-based relationships, and ensuring that strategy is always guided by the lived experiences and wisdom of Indigenous communities.

3 Things to Know About Me

  • I was the first graduate in the United States with a Masters of Public Health with a specialization in American Indian Public Health.
  • I enjoy playing volleyball and am currently playing in two leagues as a height challenged middle hitter.
  • I am lucky to have three amazing boys Chase, Niibwin, and Morrow that help me manage a collectibles business where we specialize in trading cards.
