Native Governance Center will be attending the Women Empowering Women for Indian Nations (WEWIN) Conference on July 26-29! WEWIN is a national gathering founded by Indian women committed to strengthening tribal cultures, uplifting sovereign leadership, and honoring the destiny of future generations. This year’s theme, “Warrior Women Creating Balance,” is a call to honor both our strength and our well-being. Through leadership, governance, environmental stewardship, and personal wellness, we strengthen ourselves so we can continue strengthening our families, Nations, and future generations.
Throughout the week, NGC will have a table with information about our programming, some swag, and a giveaway. As a Native-led, majority-woman organization, we consider this one of our favorite conferences. Our staff is looking forward to being in this space, having the opportunity to be in community and learn with powerful Native women from across Indian Country.
