As program director, Jayme leads the implementation and execution of Native Governance Center’s programs. She is a Cohort 7 Native Nation Rebuilder, an enrolled citizen of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians, and a descendant of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. Before joining Native Governance Center, Jayme worked at the Turtle Mountain Community College in Belcourt, North Dakota as the Tribal College Grant Program Director. She also previously worked for U.S. Senator Kent Conrad in Washington, D.C. as his Native American Affairs Liaison. Jayme has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Mary in Bismarck. She’s currently working on an MPA with a concentration in public policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
